Emmanuel Emegha has received a call-up to the Netherlands squad as Wout Weghorst struggles for fitness.
Strasbourg attacker Emegha was not initially included in Ronald Koeman’s squad for the Netherlands’ upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Lithuania.
However, with Ajax forward Weghorst not deemed fully fit, Emegha has been given the nod to join up with the Dutch squad.
Emegha, who is set to join Chelsea next season, scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season for Strasbourg.
The 22-year-old has scored four goals in five Ligue 1 appearances this season.
Emegha has not made his international debut at senior level, though he has represented the Netherlands through the youth ranks.
