OG Anunoby won’t travel with the New York Knicks on their upcoming road trip as the forward deals with a left hamstring strain. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks, league sources said Sunday.

With 6:52 left in the first quarter of Friday’s game between the Knicks and Miami Heat, Anunoby left the contest with the injury and didn’t return. The injury occurred as Anunoby was attempting a layup, and he came down holding his hamstring.

It happened one game after Knicks star Jalen Brunson rolled his right ankle in the final two minutes of a blowout loss to the Orlando Magic. The team said Brunson has a grade-1 right ankle sprain and will be day-to-day moving forward.

The injury to Anunoby is a blow for the Knicks, as the veteran swingman was playing like an All-Star before the incident. Through the first 11 games of the season, he averaged 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and a career-best 2.1 steals while shooting 39.7 percent from 3.

New York will begin a five-game road trip on Monday, starting in Miami. They also face Dallas, Orlando and Brooklyn, and cap the away stretch with an NBA Cup game against Charlotte on Nov. 26.
