Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a gruesome arm injury midway through the fourth quarter of Washington’s Sunday night game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Daniels’ arm snapped back as he landed on the ground after being sacked by Drake Thomas near the Seattle goal line. He writhed in pain as the Washington medical staff rushed to his side and teammates dropped to one knee.
His left arm was put in a large brace as the entire team came out to his side and a cart drove out. Daniels declined to take it, however, choosing instead to walk back to the locker room as team athletic trainers held his left arm and elbow.
Daniels missed three starts this season, with a knee injury and then a hamstring injury, but returned to start against the Seahawks.
