Gold prices in India declined for the second consecutive day this week, even as global markets assessed developments related to the India-US trade deal. While gold and silver futures rebounded sharply on the MCX with gold rising nearly 3 percent and silver surging over 7 percent, domestic retail prices remained under pressure.

On February 03, 2026, 24K gold slipped to Rs 15,175 per gram, down Rs 142 from the previous session, while 22K gold eased Rs 130 to Rs 13,910 per gram. In just five days since January 30, 2026, 24K gold prices have cumulatively declined by a massive Rs 2,71,000 per 100 grams, highlighting the intensity of the correction.
24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
24 Karat gold, the purest form of the metal, is priced at Rs 15,175 per gram today, compared with Rs 15,317 per gram yesterday, marking a decline of Rs 142 per gram. For higher quantities, 8 grams of 24 Karat gold now costs Rs 1,21,400, down by Rs 1,136, while 10 grams is priced at Rs 1,51,750, lower by Rs 1,420. On a bulk basis, 100 grams of 24 Karat gold has slipped to Rs 15,17,500, reflecting a sharp fall of Rs 14,200.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
22 Karat gold, which is commonly used for jewellery in India, has also seen a notable correction. The price today stands at Rs 13,910 per gram, down from Rs 14,040 yesterday, a fall of Rs 130 per gram. The rate for 8 grams has dropped to Rs 1,11,280, lower by Rs 1,040, while 10 grams of 22 Karat gold now costs Rs 1,39,100, down by Rs 1,300. For 100 grams, the price has declined to Rs 13,91,000, registering a fall of Rs 13,000.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
Prices of 18 Karat gold, often used in lightweight and designer jewellery, have also moved lower. The rate today is Rs 11,381 per gram, compared with Rs 11,488 yesterday, a drop of Rs 107 per gram. 8 grams of 18 Karat gold is priced at Rs 91,048, down by Rs 856, while 10 grams now costs Rs 1,13,810, lower by Rs 1,070. On a larger scale, 100 grams of 18 Karat gold is priced at Rs 11,38,100, reflecting a decline of Rs 10,700.
Silver Rate Today: Check Latest Silver Prices Per Kg and Gm on 3 February 2026
On February 03, 2026, silver fell further, extending losses for the second consecutive day. The metal was priced at Rs 2,800 per 10 grams, Rs 28,000 per 100 grams and Rs 2,80,000 per kg, reflecting a steep fall of Rs 20,000 per kg compared with the previous session.
The correction follows an even sharper drop on February 02, when silver prices plunged by Rs 50,000 per kg to Rs 3,00,000. This came after prices had remained unchanged at elevated levels on February 01, with silver trading at Rs 3,50,000 per kg. Prior to that, the metal had already seen heavy selling pressure, slipping by Rs 45,000 per kg on January 31 and a further Rs 15,000 per kg on January 30.
India-US Trade Deal Impact on Gold and Silver Prices in India
“Gold and silver remained weak, continuing their downward momentum after last week’s heavy breakdown pressured by a strong rebound in the dollar index and heavy margin-call driven liquidation…….The dollar strengthened after the U.S. and India agreed on a trade deal. Meanwhile, the rupee also rebounded from record lows, limiting gains for precious metals in domestic markets,” said Rahul Kalantri, VP Commodities, Mehta Equities Ltd.
