Funky Box Office Collection Day 3: Vishwak Sen-Kayadu Lohar Film Crosses ₹5 Crore In Opening Weekend


Funky Box Office Collection: The Telugu film Funky, featuring Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles, has completed its first three days in theatres after its release on February 13, 2026. As the film moves into Day 4 (Monday), early trade estimates indicate that it has collected around ₹5.78 crore (India net) during its opening weekend.

According to figures reported by box office tracking portal Sacnilk, the film opened with ₹2.2 crore on its first day, which was a Friday. On Saturday, collections dipped to ₹1.9 crore, reflecting a drop of over 13 percent compared to the opening day. Sunday numbers stood at approximately ₹1.68 crore, based on early estimates, marking another marginal decline.

Despite being a weekend release, the film did not witness a significant jump on Saturday or Sunday, which are typically considered crucial for theatrical momentum. The cumulative three-day total stands at ₹5.78 crore (India net). With Monday marking the fourth day of its run, the weekday performance is expected to offer a clearer picture of its hold at the box office.

Funky: Cast And Technical Team

Directed by Anudeep KV, Funky is positioned as a comedy set against the backdrop of a troubled film production. The narrative revolves around a filmmaker attempting to manage an increasingly chaotic shoot, with the story unfolding through a series of eccentric situations and misunderstandings. The screenplay has been written by Anudeep KV in collaboration with Mohan Sato.

Apart from Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar, the film also features Naresh and VTV Ganesh in supporting roles. The technical crew includes music composer Bheems Ceciroleo, cinematographer Suresh Sarangam, and editor Navin Nooli. The project has been produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and is presented by Srikara Studios.

The film’s performance over the coming weekdays will be closely watched to assess whether it stabilises after the opening weekend.
