Festive Vibes Soar High at &TV’s Gharwali Pedwali This Makar Sankranti

Rooted
in
tradition
and
celebrated
across
India
as
a
festival
of
harvest,
hope,
and
positivity,
Makar
Sankranti
holds
deep
cultural
significance
as
it
marks
new
beginnings
and
the
joy
of
togetherness.
Embracing
the
essence
of
this
auspicious
occasion,
the
sets
of
&TV’s
Gharwali
Pedwali
were
immersed
in
festive
cheer
as
the
entire
cast
came
together
to
celebrate
the
festival
with
great
enthusiasm.
The
sets
were
beautifully
decorated
with
colourful
kites,
creating
a
vibrant
and
cheerful
atmosphere.
Lead
actors
Paras
Arora
(Jeetu),
Priyamvada
Kant
(Latika),
and
Seerat
Kapoor
(Savi)
,
along
with
the
rest
of
the
cast,
indulged
in
traditional
festivities
like
flying
kites,
dancing,
playing
fun
games,
and
enjoying
tilkut
and
laddus.
The
celebration
turned
into
a
grand
affair
with
the
festive
energy
and
cast’s
infectious
masti.
Paras
Arora
aka
Jeetu
shares,
“Celebrating
Makar
Sankranti
on
the
sets
of
Gharwali
Pedwali
was
truly
special
and
filled
with
warmth.
Festivals
always
bring
a
different
kind
of
positive
energy,
and
celebrating
it
with
our
entire
cast
made
it
even
more
memorable.
It
took
me
straight
back
to
my
childhood
and
my
hometown
days,
when
we
would
spend
hours
flying
kites
with
friends
and
enjoy
simple
yet
delicious
festive
food
like
Til
Gud
and
dahi
at
home.
Flying
kites,
dancing
together,
and
relishing
tilkut
and
laddus
on
set
brought
back
those
nostalgic
memories.
The
beautifully
decorated
sets
instantly
lifted
everyone’s
mood.
Moments
like
these
help
us
bond
better
as
a
team,
and
that
warmth
and
chemistry
definitely
reflect
on
screen.
I
truly
appreciate
how
the
channel
ensures
we
celebrate
our
festivals
together
like
one
big
family.”

Priyamvada
Kant
aka
Latika
adds,

Makar
Sankranti
celebrations
on
set
were
pure
joy
and
full-on
masti.
The
colourful
kites,
traditional
sweets,
and
laughter
everywhere
made
the
day
extremely
special.
I
absolutely
loved
flying
kites
with
everyone
and
especially
having
a
competition
with
Jeetu
and
Savi
during
Kite
making
and
guess
what
I
won
also.
It
felt
like
reliving
festive
moments
from
home.
What
made
it
even
nicer
was
seeing
the
entire
cast
come
together,
dance,
and
enjoy
without
worrying
about
scenes
or
shots.
These
celebrations
create
such
a
positive
vibe
on
set.
It
truly
felt
like
a
mini
festival
celebration
away
from
home.”
Sharing
her
excitement
Seerat
Kapoor
aka
Savi
says,
“This
was
my
first
Makar
Sankranti
celebration
on
the
sets
of
Gharwali
Pedwali,
and
I
enjoyed
every
moment
of
it.
The
festive
décor,
the
kites
all
around,
and
the
infectious
energy
of
the
cast
made
the
day
truly
unforgettable.
I
loved
how
everyone
participated
so
enthusiastically,
whether
it
was
flying
kites,
dancing,
or
enjoying
traditional
sweets.
Today,
I
also
got
a
chance
to
taste
authentic
North
Indian
tilkut
from
Bihar,
which
one
of
our
team
members
specially
brought
to
the
sets,
and
I
must
say
it
was
the
best
festival
snack
I
have
ever
had.
It
did
not
feel
like
work
at
all;
it
felt
like
celebrating
with
family.”
