Makar
Sankranti
Exclusive:
Actor
Akshun
Mahajan,
who
has
steadily
carved
his
space
in
the
entertainment
industry,
is
embracing
the
festive
spirit
of
Makar
Sankranti
2026
with
gratitude
and
reflection.
From
his
early-on
journey
as
an
assistant
director
with
yrf
to
making
a
mark
on
screen
as
an
actor,
Akshun’s
journey
has
been
one
of
patience
and
perseverance.
He
was
last
seen
in
Colors
TV’s
Mannpasand
Ki
Shaadi
produced
by
Rajshri
Productions
and
is
now
gearing
up
for
the
release
of
a
new
music
video,
while
fans
eagerly
wait
for
his
next
project.
Speaking
about
the
festival
and
its
deeper
meaning,
Akshun
shares
how
Makar
Sankranti
resonates
strongly
with
him.
“Makar
Sankranti
is
super
special
for
me,
especially
being
from
Punjab,”
he
says.
The
festival,
which
symbolises
a
move
toward
brighter
days,
also
reminds
him
of
an
important
phase
in
his
professional
life.
“Career-wise,
getting
my
first
break
was
a
turning
point.
It
set
the
path
for
everything
that
followed
eventually,”
Akshun
adds,
highlighting
how
that
one
opportunity
shaped
his
journey
ahead.
When
it
comes
to
festive
memories,
Akshun’s
thoughts
instantly
travel
back
to
his
carefree
childhood
days.
Kite
flying
remains
close
to
his
heart.
“Childhood
memory
would
be
kite-flying,
of
course,”
he
recalls
with
a
smile.
The
celebrations
did
not
end
there.
Afternoons
were
reserved
for
comfort
food
and
endless
fun.
“I
would
munch
on
rajma
chawal,
run
around
with
my
friends,
climb
terraces,
and
do
what
we
later
realised
was
parkour,”
he
shares.
Those
terrace-hopping
adventures,
innocent
mischief,
and
laughter-filled
days
still
hold
a
special
place
in
his
heart.
“We
didn’t
know
it
was
called
parkour
back
then,
but
those
carefree
moments
were
pure
magic.
That’s
what
childhood
is,
and
that’s
what
I
cherish
the
most,”
Akshun
says.
As
he
celebrates
Makar
Sankranti
2026,
Akshun
Mahajan
continues
to
look
ahead
with
positivity,
much
like
the
festival
itself,
ready
for
new
beginnings,
fresh
opportunities,
and
brighter
days
in
his
career.
