Evann Guessand will join Crystal Palace on loan from Aston Villa in the final days of the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports. The 24-year-old attacker travelled to London on Thursday and will undergo a medical on Friday.
Juventus made a late enquiry for Guessand, but it was too late. The Ivory Coast international will initially join Palace on a loan deal, which has an obligatory clause of £28million should he make a certain number of appearances for the London club.
According to the report, Guessand has already agreed a four-year contract with Palace. The winger joined Villa in the summer of 2025 and has been able to score two goals in 21 appearances for the Villans, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season. As for Palace, Oliver Glasner’s side are eight points above the Premier League bottom three at the moment.
