CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, Italy — Elana Meyers Taylor is an Olympic gold medalist at last.

The 41-year-old American bobsledder, winner of five previous Olympic medals across the last four Games but never gold, topped the field Monday in the women’s monobob for her first ever Olympic title.
