Disney 1975 Print Revived in Lilly Pulitzer Spring Break Collection

Lilly Pulitzer is bringing a vintage design back to life with the launch of a new Disney collaboration, just in time for spring break. The collection reintroduces a beloved 1975 print, originally inspired by a Slim Aarons photograph of Lilly Pulitzer framed in a fabric flower.

The throwback Vintage Vault Print features Mickey and Minnie Mouse amid colorful flowers, kites, balloons and other whimsical details in its original color palette of greens, pinks and yellows. The playful, primary-color design highlights both the heritage of Lilly Pulitzer prints and the enduring appeal of Disney characters. The collection combines nostalgia with modern styling, offering pieces that are both wearable and collectible.

“Over the years, we’ve loved sharing the artistry of Lilly prints infused with Disney magic,” Mira Fain, chief creative officer at Lilly Pulitzer, said in a statement. “Relaunching this archival design feels like a dream — it’s the original collectible that sparked the Lilly x Disney love story.”

The collection is aimed at Disney fans and fashion enthusiasts alike, offering a contemporary take on a classic print. Pieces are designed for spring getaways, travel or visits to Disney parks, making them versatile for both everyday wear and special trips.

Throwback Disney is available in stores and online beginning Feb. 23. Shoppers can explore the full collection through Lilly Pulitzer’s website, which features imagery and styling inspiration for the new launch. The release marks another milestone in the ongoing Lilly x Disney partnership, which has consistently seen strong consumer interest and high demand for archival and new designs.
