Couple Friendly Early Review: With just two days to go for its theatrical release on February 14, the upcoming romantic drama Couple Friendly has begun drawing attention following comments made by its distributor, Dheeraj Mogilineni. The film stars Santosh Soban and Manasa Varanasi in lead roles and is written and directed by Ashwin Chandrasekar.
Speaking ahead of the Valentine’s Day release, Dheeraj Mogilineni said he watched the film around 15 days ago and decided to distribute it after liking it. He stated that he only acquires films that genuinely impress him and does not rush into decisions. According to him, Couple Friendly is a heart-touching love story that families can watch together.

In comments reported by Telugu Bulletin, the distributor added that the title might give the impression of being a youth-centric film, but he believes the narrative is rooted in strong family emotions. He noted that the story follows the journey of two characters, Shiva and Mitra, and explores how their lives change after they meet in a new city. He also mentioned that the film briefly touches upon the concept of live-in relationships while primarily focusing on the emotional bond between the lead pair.
As per reports, the theatrical rights for the film were acquired by Dheeraj Mogilineni for ₹4.05 crore. He is set to release the film across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Couple Friendly is produced by UV Concepts, with Ajay Kumar Raju P. backing the project, and is presented by UV Creations. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in Telugu and Tamil.
According to the official synopsis, the story follows a struggling interior designer and an aspiring IT professional who develop an unexpected connection while living in a new city. As their lives progress, their relationship is tested when success comes to one of them while the other faces setbacks.
On the technical side, the film’s cinematography is handled by Dinesh Purushothaman, with editing by Ganesh Siva. Music has been composed and programmed by Aditya Ravindran. The supporting technical team includes art director Michael BFA and costume designer Dinesh Manoharan, among others.
