Barcelona and Villarreal have confirmed their starting teams for their meeting at Camp Nou in La Liga on Saturday.

Barca recovered from a 2-1 defeat at Girona on February 16 by extending their perfect home league record this season to 12 wins with a 3-0 victory over Levante last Sunday, putting Hansi Flick’s side a point above second-placed Real Madrid.

Third-placed Villarreal are nine points behind Los Blancos after coming from behind to earn a second straight league win with a 2-1 home victory over Valencia on the same day.

Andreas Christensen (knee) and Jofre Torrents (ankle) are injured, with fellow defender Gerard Martin serving a one-match ban and midfielders Frenkie de Jong (hamstring) and Gavi (knee) also sidelined.

Martin and Joao Cancelo drop out of the Barca back four, while Fermin Lopez comes in for the injured De Jong. Ferran Torres replaces Robert Lewandowski up front.
