Chatha Pacha OTT Release: Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies, the Malayalam action-comedy featuring Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew and Vishak Nair in lead roles, is set against the backdrop of Fort Kochi’s vibrant streets and subcultures. Directed by Adhvaith Nayar and written by Sanoop Thykoodam, the film blends humour with action, centring on a group of unlikely wrestlers attempting to build something of their own.
Released in theatres on January 22, 2026, the film follows three brothers who launch a small-scale wrestling promotion inspired by televised professional wrestling. What begins as an ambitious local venture soon draws attention from rival groups and law enforcement, creating tension both inside and outside the ring. The narrative explores themes of sibling dynamics, loyalty and second chances, while staging wrestling bouts that form the backbone of the story.
Alongside the principal cast, the film features performances by Ishan Shoukath, Siddique and Lakshmi Menon, among others. The ensemble also includes Khalid Al Ameri, Raffi, Thesni Khan, Muthumani, Carmen S Mathew, Dartagnan Sabu, Vyshnav Biju, Syamaprakash MS, Krishnan Nambiar, Minon, Zarin Shihab, Vedhika Sreekumar, Orhan, Alwin Mukund, Archith Abhilash, Tosh & Toj Christy and Ashlee Issac Abraham. The film also features a cameo by Mammootty.
The project is backed by Reel World Entertainment, with Shihan Shoukath presenting and producing the film along with Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan. Cinematography is handled by Anend C Chandran, with additional camera work by Jomon T John and Sudeep Elamon. Editing duties were undertaken by Praveen Prabhakar. The soundtrack features songs composed by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while Mujeeb Majeed has scored the background music.

After completing its theatrical run, Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is set to make its digital debut on Netflix. The film will begin streaming from February 19. It will be available not only in Malayalam but also in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, expanding its reach to a wider audience across language markets.
The film shifts to streaming less than a month after its theatrical release. Viewers who missed it in cinemas will now have the option to watch it online starting Thursday.
