Ben Savage has just taken on his biggest role yet: girl dad!
The Boy Meets World star, 45, announced the birth of his first child, a baby girl, with wife Tessa Angermeier on social media Thursday.
“Welcome little one,” Savage captioned his Instagram post, which featured a collection of photos of him holding onto his daughter’s tiny hand, walking her through the hospital, and holding her in his arms.

Friends and costars all flocked to the comments section of the post to congratulate the family, with Savage’s Boy Meets World costar Matthew Lawrence writing, “Wow bro!! 🐣🍼 a very happy Thanksgiving.”
In addition to his announcement post, Savage also shared a photo of the family on a walk together on his Instagram Story, writing, “Happy Thanksgiving.”
And, if that wasn’t cute enough, he also shared photos of the baby dressed in a little onesie with “gobble gobble” written on the front.

Savage and Angermeier, who tied the knot in 2023, announced that they were expecting their first child on social media in May. “Arriving this fall,” he captioned his Instagram post, which featured the pair smiling as they held up a sonogram.
Earlier this month, the actor posted a series of photos of himself and a pregnant Angermeier at the beach together. “See you soon,” he wrote.
Savage previously played a girl dad on the Boy Meets World spinoff Girl Meets World. The Disney Channel series, which ran for three seasons, saw his character Cory and wife Topanga (Danielle Fishel) try their best to parent their teen daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard).
The show also starred Peyton Meyer, August Maturo, and Sabrina Carpenter.
