‘Botched’ patient Jordan James Parke dies at 34, arrests made

Jordan James Parke, who appeared on reality show Botched, has died at 34.

Parke was open about having spent an estimated $150,000 to look like his idol, Kim Kardashian, whom he considered “the most gorgeous woman ever,” he said in 2014.

Parke died Feb. 18, after police were called about an unconscious man in Lincoln Plaza in the Canary Wharf area in London, E! reported. Parke was declared dead at the scene.

Police said that Parke’s death is being investigated, per ITV.

“Officers attended alongside paramedics and a 34-year-old man was sadly declared dead at the scene,” officials said. “His death is currently being treated as unexplained, and an investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing. However, officers are reviewing information that suggests the victim may have been undergoing a cosmetic procedure prior to his death.”

The statement continued, “After police conducted urgent enquiries, a 43-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on Friday, 20 February, on suspicion of manslaughter. They have since been bailed pending further investigation.”

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to the Metropolitan Police.

In 2014, Parke, who called himself the “Lip King,” told British newspaper The Sun that his look was “all about the shock factor.”

He added, “I love all the attention and stares I get in the street. I welcome the hate — it just means more attention. And if anything, it just spurs me on to get more work done.”

Parke didn’t have any regrets about the changes he’d made.

“I laugh when people try to insult me by telling me I look plastic or fake,” Parke said. “Do they think I’m going for the natural look? If I was, I’d ask for my money back.”

Parke has faced legal trouble himself in 2024, when he was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, but not charged, following the death of a woman who underwent a procedure at a clinic he co-owned.

He appeared on the reality show about plastic surgery gone wrong for consultations on his lip fillers, liposuction, and nose, per PEOPLE.
