The war drama, directed by Anurag Singh, is already among the year’s most discussed Hindi films. Opening to rave reviews, Sunny Deol the second highest grossing film in a long career. To note, Border 2 brings Sunny Deol back to a franchise almost three decades after the original Border released in 1997. The new film is set during the 1971 India vs Pakistan war and continues the focus on Indian soldiers.

Sacnilk reports overseas markets added Rs 2.5cr on day five, the film’s first Tuesday, pushing Border 2’s international total to Rs 37.25cr for the period since release.

Giving the ongoing trend, Border 2 is expected to see a steady hold at the box office and is expected to inch close to Rs 300cr mark worldwide. This isn’t all. Border 2 will also be crossing Rs 40cr mark overseas.
