Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 9 (Evening Trend): Border 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the 1997 film Border, which enjoys a strong legacy. Co-produced by JP Dutta, Border 2 features an ensemble cast. The line-up includes Varun, Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa and Medha Rana. The story of Border 2 is based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. Border 2 salutes the bravery of the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy through a large-scale war narrative. The Anurag Singh directorial opened to decent reviews yet quickly surged at the box office. Audience attention centred on Varun Dhawan, whose turn as an Indian Army soldier became the film’s key talking point. Varun Dhawan is widely known in Bollywood for a chocolate boy image and sharp comic timing. Many viewers see Varun as a romantic hero, shaped by earlier hit roles. Interestingly, Border 2, which wrapped week 1 on a slow note, has been picking up pace during the second weekend.
Border 2 Evening Occupancy Day 9
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 saw an impressive hike evening occupancy and recorded a footfall of 32.96% on day 9 (second Saturday). In fact, it failed to beat Dhurandhar’s footfall which happens to be 79.37 on day 9 during evening shows. Interestingly, Border 2 has manage to beat the evening occupancy of Singham Again which was 30.1% on day 9

Interestingly, Border 2 has been maintaining a good hold at the box office during the weekend. As per Sacnilk, Border 2 has earned Rs 13.21cr until 8pm which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 248.21cr. To note, the movie is expected to cross Rs 250cr today and will be crossing the lifetime collection of Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again which happens to be Rs 247.86cr.
Meanwhile, talking about Mardaani 3, Rani Mukerji told ANI that it’s an important film to raise awareness among women. “When we watch this content, our awareness will increase. This is the story of women’s empowerment, to give strength to women. This film is made to give hope, and I want every girl, every woman, to watch this film and get inspired”.
