Border 2 box office collection day 24: Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan’s Border 2 has lost its steam, almost heading towards the end of its ultimate theatrical run. As O Romeo and Tu Yaa Main released on Friday (February 13), the number of screens allotted to the movie was reduced, resulting in a massive drop in numbers. It witnessed a rise in numbers on Saturday, but somehow couldn’t touch the Rs 350-crore mark at the domestic box office.

While O’ Romeo also saw a fall in terms of box office earnings, it performed better than Border 2 as it is a new release. Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri-starrer is going steady at the box office; however, it got affected by the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match.

Border 2 recorded a modest audience response on Sunday, 15 February 2026, with an overall theatre occupancy of 21.72% across shows, according to Sacnilk. There was a higher engagement during afternoon and evening screenings and comparatively weaker turnout for morning and late-night shows in cinemas.

Data from Sacnilk suggested that the afternoon sessions led with 34.29% occupancy, making them the strongest slot for Border 2 on Sunday. Evening shows ranked second at 28.13%, pointing to steady attendance. Morning screenings managed 10.54%, while night shows reach 13.92%, keeping overall performance in a moderate range.

O’ Romeo recorded an overall 18.96% occupancy in cinemas on Sunday, February 15, 2026, as per Sacnilk. The film’s strongest turnout came during the afternoon period, when crowds were relatively higher. Morning shows drew fewer viewers, while evening and night shows stayed close to each other in terms of response.

On day three, morning shows for O’ Romeo posted 8.76% occupancy, indicating a slow start. Afternoon shows rose sharply to 25.00%, marking the peak performance of the day. Evening shows then eased to 23.42%, while night shows closed the day with 18.66% occupancy across theatres.

As the match was played at 7pm, the night shows were affected. Considering it was a Ind Vs Pak match, all eyeballs remained glued on television and OTT, and cinema had to take a backseat.
