Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 18 Prediction: Border 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 1997 war classic Border, has kept audiences flocking to theaters since the first day. The war drama opened in Indian cinemas on 23 January 2026, timed with the Republic Day holiday. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film was a standalone sequel to the 1997 hit Border and took the story of wartime courage to a new scale. It was set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, showing action across multiple fronts with the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy.

Border 2 saw a significant dip in the occupancy during the morning shows on day 18 and recorded a footfall of 4.49%.

Despite a hike in footfalls, Border 2 failed to see a good start at the box office and minted Rs 20 lakhs from morning shows today. It will be interesting to see if Border 2 will pick up pace during the day.
Meanwhile, talking about Border 2 success, Anurag Singh told Bollywood Hungama, “We knew the emotions were working and were sure that audience would connect with those emotions. As far as the numbers are concerned, everyone had their guesses. I knew that the numbers would happen if the audience likes the film.”
