Two camps who find themselves separated by just a single point in the National League South standings, Chelmsford will welcomed Maidstone to Essex on Monday night.

Likewise, last seen at the Melbourne Stadium securing consecutive 1-0 victories against Tonbridge and Weston-super-Mare, Chelmsford have registered back-to-back wins in Essex for the first time since the start of November.
As for the visitors, although Maidstone might have opened up the 2025/26 campaign with many billing them as a genuine play-off contender, George Elokobi’s side have drastically failed to find any kind of stability. Tumbling down the National League South standings, the one-time Wolves defender has seen his downbeat squad lose each of their previous three consecutive appearances and they are enduring their longest winless run since back in September. Sacrificing their spot in the top-half of the table, the Kent-based outfit have also continued to show some worrying defensive issues. In fact, the Stones have lost each of their last three straight outings by an aggregate score of 6-3 and they have only mustered a sole clean sheet since back on Boxing Day. Likewise, including a 3-1 loss against Eastbourne Boro on February 10th, it should also be noted that Maidstone have claimed just a single win on their travels since the end of November.
