Storyline
and
Key
Crew
Set
in
the
1990s,
the
story
follows
Kittan
Velusamy,
a
young
man
from
a
socially
marginalized
background
in
rural
Tamil
Nadu.
His
interest
in
kabaddi
places
him
at
odds
with
the
rigid
social
order
of
his
village,
where
caste
divisions
and
longstanding
rivalries
shape
daily
life.
Two
influential
local
leaders,
locked
in
a
political
and
personal
feud,
directly
impact
the
stability
of
Kittan’s
family
and
the
environment

the
sport.
The

attempts
to
navigate
a
community
marked
by
violence,
intimidation,
and
limited
opportunities.
His
relationship
with
his
family,
particularly
with
his
sister,
forms
an
emotional
anchor
as
he
tries
to
stay
focused
amid
escalating
tensions.
A
turning
point
arrives
when
a
kabaddi
coach
identifies
his
potential
and
helps
him
approach
the
sport
with
renewed
discipline.
From
there,
Kittan’s
struggle
becomes
not
only
a
pursuit
of
personal
ambition
but
also
an
effort
to
move
beyond
the
restrictions
imposed
on
him
since
childhood.
