Assi Day 2 Collection Prediction India (February 21, 2026) | Assi First Saturday Collection Prediction | Assi vs O’Romeo Collection February 21 | Assi vs Mulk Day 2 Collection | Assi Morning Occupancy Day 2

Assi Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Taapsee Pannu returns to the courtroom drama zone with Assi, taking on another lawyer role. The film centres on a high-profile sexual harassment complaint and the storm surrounding it. Taapsee Pannu plays Advocate Raavi, who decides to back a controversial complainant, and the narrative follows the personal and professional fallout of that choice. As the case unfolds in Assi, the script looks at gender-based concerns, shifting power equations, and social reluctance to confront such accusations directly. Raavi’s struggle plays out both inside the courtroom and in public spaces, where silence, doubt and judgement shape reactions. The story traces how these forces affect the complainant, the accused and Raavi.

Assi is directed by Anubhav Sinha and features Kani Kusruti, Revathy, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Seema Pahwa, Supriya Pathak Kapur and Naseeruddin Shah in key roles. Their characters build a layered portrait of the case and its impact. Assi also becomes Taapsee Pannu and Anubhav Sinha’s third collaboration after Mulk and Thappad, again placing Taapsee Pannu in a morally complex position, though early box office numbers show a slow start.

Assi Box Office Collection Day 1

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Assi saw a slow start amid Shahid Kapoor’s O’Romeo and made collection of Rs 1cr on day 1 (first Friday)

Assi Fails To Beat Mulk On Day 1

While Assi made a collection of Rs 1cr, it failed to beat Taapsee Pannu starrer Mulk which had earned Rs 1.68cr on the opening day.

Assi Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction

As Assi is in the opening weekend, the movie is likely to see a hike in numbers and is expected to mint Rs 1.5-2cr on day 2 (first Saturday). It will be interesting to see if Assi will beat Mulk on the second day of release.

Meanwhile, talking about collaborating with Anubhav Sinha, Taapsee in a report in Times Of India stated, “I don’t want to bracket Anubhav Sir only with respect to courtroom dramas. I think there are a lot of things he brings to the table that makes his film feel dramatically real, almost too close to home. Whether it’s courtroom dramas like Mulk or Assi or stories like Thappa or Article 15, his storytelling has a way of presenting facts so effortlessly in front of you that sometimes, when that mirror is help up, it’s challenging to look at”.
