Ashakal Aayiram Box Office Collection Day 2: The highly anticipated family enteratiner, which marked the onscreen reunion of the father-son duo Jayaram and Kalidas Jayaram, hit the theatres on February 6, 2026. The recent updates from the trade analysts suggest that Ashakal Aayiram has made a decent opening at the worldwide box office. On Day 1, the Jayaram and Kalidas Jayaram starrer has made total worldwide gross collection of over ₹83 lakhs. It is indeed an impressive box office figure for the film, which was released without a major pre-release hype.
According to the recent X post by trade analyst Jerin Georgekutty, Ashakal Aayiram collected ₹59 lakhs from the Kerala box office, on Day 1. The movie collected ₹6 lakhs from Karnataka, ₹4.5 lakhs from Tamil Nadu, and ₹2.5 lakhs from the rest of India centers. The total domestic (all-India) collection now stands at ₹72 lakhs. The overseas box office collection, on the other hand, has touched ₹10.95 lakhs.
If things proceed at the same rate, Jayaram and Kalidas Jayaram’s latest film has high potential emerge as a box office hit. Ashakal Aayiram is expected to collect well during its first weekend at the theatres, owing to the positive reviews and decent word-of-mouth publicity.

Ajeesh, a young social media influencer aspires to become a movie star, to the much disappointment of his father, Hariharan. But the father-son duo’s like take a different turn when the shooting of an upcoming Malayalam film, starring a big superstar is filmed at their locality. Jayaram plays the role of Hariharan in the film, which stars Kalidas in the role of his son Ajeesh.
Along with Jayaram and Kalidas, Ashakal Aayiram stars Asha Sharath, Sharaf U Dheen, Ishaani Krishna, Anand Manmadhan, Akhil NRD, Ramesh Pisharody, Dileep Menon, Zhins Shan, and others in the supporting roles. The project is jointly scripted by Jude Anthany Joseph and Aravind Rajendran. Sanal Dev composed music score for the film, produced by Sree Gokulam Movies.
