notice

extremely

me,
my

and
even

my
friends
and
co-actors.
The
posts
included
morphed
pictures
and
baseless
allegations

it
was
deeply
distressing
to
witness
such
targeted
harassment
online.”
She
emphasised
the
emotional
toll
this
harassment
took
on
her.

The
actress
expressed
her
decision
not
to
reveal
the
offender’s
identity
due
to
her
young
age.
She
believes
in
giving
the
girl
a
chance
to
learn
from
her
mistakes
without
jeopardising
her

warning
that
actions
have
consequences.

Anupama
further
elaborated

“Owning
a
smartphone
or
having
access
to
social
media
platforms
does
not
give
anyone
the
right
to

defame,

spread

leaves
a
trace,
and

will
follow.
We
have
proceeded
with
legal
action,
and
the
individual
will
face
the
consequences
of
her
actions.”
