Andre Onana regrets leaving Manchester United for Trabzonspor in the summer of 2025, according to Fichajes. The 29-year-old Cameroon international joined the Turkish Super Lig club on loan from the Premier League outfit for the 2025/26 campaign.
However, Man Utd do not plan to bring Onana back into the fold and are looking to offload the former Inter Milan goalkeeper when the transfer window opens in the summer.
Fichajes has noted: “Manchester United has made its stance clear.
“The plan is to put Andre Onana on the market and seek a permanent sale.
“The previous experience did not pan out as expected. Concerns in crucial matches weighed on his assessment.
“In the Premier League, the demands are high, and the club requires security in goal. That is the priority for the upcoming season.
“Andre Onana arrived with high expectations, but inconsistency marked his time in England.
“Now, after his spell at Trabzonspor, the contractual relationship remains, but the sports project is heading in a different direction.”
