Known
for
creating

Peli
is
back
to
stir
chaos,
confusion,
and
comedy,
but
with
a
delightful
twist
that
promises
to
leave
viewers
in
splits.
Speaking
about
stepping
back
into
the
role,
Akshay
Patil
shares,
“I
am
extremely
excited
and
happy
to
be
seen
as
Peli
in
a
completely
new
avatar.
I
have
always
enjoyed
playing
this
character.
As
everyone
knows,
even
earlier
Peli
did
not
speak
much
and
this
time
too,
I
won’t
be
saying
a
word!
The
twist
is
that
I
am
appearing
in
a
female
avatar.
Peli
silently
delivers
letters,
says
nothing,
yet
creates
complete
chaos.
Despite
so
many
beautiful
girls
in
the
village,
TMT-
Tika
(Vaibhav
Mathur),
Malkhan
(Vipin
Heero),
and
Tillu
(Salim
Zaidi)
are
totally
obsessed
with
Peli,
which
makes
the
situations
even
more
hilarious.”
Talking
about
the
transformation
and
the
new
vibe
on
set,
Akshay
adds,
“The
transition
was
not
difficult
at
all
because
I
have
been
doing
this
style
of
performance
for
over
ten
years,
only
the
look
has
changed,
and
I
absolutely
loved
it.
Earlier,
my
moustache
became
famous;
maybe
this
time
my
two
braids
will
become
popular
(laughs).
With
the
set
changing
and
Shilpa
Shinde
ji
(Angoori
Bhabi)
returning,
there
is
a
fresh
atmosphere
and
double
the
excitement.
Working
in
this
new
phase
of
the
show
has
been
truly
fun
