Actor
Ali
Mughal,
known
for
his
work
in
Tabbar,
Tejas,
Sukhee,
Inside
Edge,
Taaza
Khabar,
and
other
notable
projects,
is
set
to
feature
in
the
much-anticipated
war
drama
film
Border
2.
The
film
stars
Sunny
Deol,
Varun
Dhawan,
Diljit
Dosanjh,
Ahan
Shetty,
along
with
Sonam
Bajwa,
Mona
Singh,
and
others.
Speaking
about
his
first
reaction
to
being
part
of
Border
2,
he
said,
“Getting
Border
2
felt
like
a
mix
of
emotions
all
at
once.
I
was
a
kid
when
Border
was
released,
and
after
all
these
years,
I
am
now
playing
an
important
role
in
Border
2.
After
giving
so
many
auditions
throughout
my
career,
this
feels
extremely
special
to
me
and
will
always
remain
close
to
my
heart.
Being
part
of
a
film
I
grew
up
watching
is
truly
surreal
for
me.”
Talking
about
the
emotional
and
professional
difference,
he
said,
“I
was
a
kid
when
I
watched
Border
in
theatres
and
later
countless
times
on
television,
so
working
on
Border
2
has
been
an
emotional
roller
coaster
for
me.
My
previous
projects
were
not
connected
to
any
franchise
or
sequel.
Over
the
years,
I’ve
learned
to
balance
emotions
with
professionalism,
which
helps
me
channel
those
feelings
into
the
character
rather
than
letting
them
overwhelm
me.
This
project
demanded
both
emotional
depth
and
creative
discipline
from
me.”
Speaking
about
patriotism
and
national
service,
he
said,
“I
grew
up
in
Jammu
and
Kashmir,
so
I
have
witnessed
tension
around
me
for
a
major
part
of
my
life,
which
has
deeply
shaped
me.
I
have
immense
respect
for
our
armed
forces
and
national
security.
Working
on
Border
2
touched
me
deeply,
as
real-life
experiences
with
soldiers
came
alive
on
the
shooting
locations.
You
truly
feel
for
the
brave
soldiers
who
sacrificed
their
lives
for
our
country.
This
film
reinforced
my
respect
and
gratitude
towards
those
who
protect
our
nation.”
The
film
is
directed
by
Anurag
Singh
and
is
scheduled
to
hit
theatres
on
January
23,
2026.
