“Game of Thrones” fans have clearly been enjoying their most recent return to Westeros. Prequel series “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” has been a considerable hit, reaching a high of 9.5 million viewers with its Season 1 finale.
That total, counted across the episode’s first three days of availability, comes from a combination of Nielsen’s measurement of viewers who turned in on HBO’s cable channel on Sunday night and Warner Bros. Discovery’s own data regarding streams on HBO Max.
Titled “The Morrow,” the finale inched up 2% from the previous series high of 9.2 million viewers set by Episode 5, “In the Name of the Mother, which premiered on Feb. 15.
